We welcome you to our beautiful island!  You can rest assured that  we will give you the highest degree of service to ensure your visit is safe and enjoyable.

Portsmouth Association of Yacht Security (PAYS) is a non-profit organization providing security and yacht support to boat cruisers anchored in Prince Rupert’s Bay, Dominica.

In 2005, twelve Indian River certified tour guides formed  PAYS  to  ensure yachters  have a safe and enjoyable visit  while anchored in bay. 

PAYS  cares for the safety of our visiting yachters  and provides complimentary night security in Prince Rupert's Bay.   You can feel at ease while sleeping aboard at night.  When you arrive, you will be approached by a PAYS member on their water taxi. They can be identified by the PAYS logo on their boat.

All  PAYS members  are fully qualified and registered tour guides with knowledge of local nature, culture and history of the island.  Our office is located on Purple Turtle Beach  in Prince Rupert’s Bay and open to walk-ins during office hours.  Reach us via VHF/Mobile available 24 hours per day.

  We have moorings, WIFI, and showers available for our guests.  Join us for our yachtie-popular beach PAYS has gained a reputation for our popular Beach BBQ gatherings. These lively events take place every Sunday and Wednesday from 7PM. We're more than happy to organize them for private groups upon request as well. These gatherings present a delectable spread of mouthwatering grilled fare complemented by a kickin' rum punch! They provide an ideal setting to connect and socialize with fellow cruisers and PAYS members. The atmosphere is consistently vibrant, with lively music setting the tone for an enjoyable time. Embrace the rhythm, create lasting memories, and forge friendships that will stand the test of time as you dance the night away.  , volunteering, and festive events!
