Evening dinners, marina fees and mooring fees will be paid directly by participants.  Rally fees include weather forecasting and routing by the Marine Weather Center, tracking by PredictWind, Shoreside Support, a Rally Flag, and more.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THIS RALLY

The Salty Dawg Sailing Association (SDSA) mission is to educate sailors, build camaraderie, and facilitate offshore passages. Our rally goal is to conduct quality rallies with the flexibility that allows each Captain to make informed decisions, and provide all participants the best possible experience at the lowest cost.  Our Refund Policy reflects this position.

RALLY REFUND POLICY:

If you register for a Salty Dawg Rally and must cancel your registration, refunds will be issued as follows:

  • A refund of rally fees, less $25.00 is available if you cancel more than four weeks before the scheduled rally departure date. 
  • A partial refund of 50% of paid fees is available if you cancel between two and four weeks prior to the scheduled departure date.
  • Within two weeks of the scheduled departure, refunds are not available. You may be able to consider the unrefunded fees as a donation to the SDSA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. (Please check with your tax advisor to confirm your ability to take a tax deduction).
  • If entry into a country is not permitted due to Covid or other reasons, or the rally is cancelled, the rally fee will be refunded in total.

Exceptions due to unusual circumstances will always be considered.
